in sonoma county tonight for 13- year-old andy lopez. who was shot and killed by a sheriff's deputy. now the deputy says lopez refused ordered to put down what appeared to be an assault rifle. 48-year-old eric gelhouse is a 24 year veteran of the department. he was on a training exercise tuesday night when he saw anthony lopez holding a bb gun he thought was an assault weapon. he shot lopez serve times after lopez allegedly failed to put down the gun and turn towards the officers. two marches are now being organized for lopez. one by a woman who says she didn't know him but is disturbed by what happened. >> i think the community here is tired of being you know somewhat persecuted. always feeling that they're suspicious in some way. >> that march is being held on wednesday evening. another one is scheduled for noon today from santa rosa junior college to the sheriff's office. >>> time now 5:04. yesterday volunteers handed out permissionships so students could participate in the march but the district says the student who is do not attend school do so at their own risk. they say people are
